Chicago has an incredible parks system, one of the oldest and largest in the nation. With more than 600 parks, 230 field houses, 26 miles of Lakefront, and thousands of vital programs, there is plenty of room to integrate innovative ideas and meet unique community needs.
That’s where we come in. We established the Chicago Parks Foundation to give our parks a much-deserved place within Chicago’s charitable landscape.
Our goal is to help park users and lovers become park givers and stewards. When you invest in the parks, you are investing in the communities who depend on them.
As a Chicago Parks Foundation Member you are helping us provide vital services like Pitch In for the Parks, as well as our fiscal sponsorship of 75+ Park Advisory Councils and fundraising of community-driven park projects like legacy park AIDS Garden Chicago.
